I saw mention of a log capture and or viewing tool/program in the thread about how V4 firmware broke LL and WW. Just where would you get the Zyxel tool/program????

I wish Zyxel would have included me in the beta program for the ZyNOS 4.0 as I could have helped them with their logging issues then and not have to do it now as this is not a pleasurable experience (it never is when I have to deal with vendors and their problems and Zyxel isn't the only vendor I could choke right now).
Some of my beta testers are happier then others depending on what events they have in their logging stream. Few are issues with Link Logger, but most are issues with ZyNOS 4.
Had a very nice and LARGE client vetoed the purchase of a couple of Zywalls tonight and went with a different firewall supported by Link Logger (one of their requirements). I'm sure the Llama could have handled the shipping of them to Iraqi.

I think its called something like Vantage Reporting Tool etc, not sure if its on any FTP site, never looked for it. |

I don't think that Vantage is free.
Edit -> Looking around it would appear that Vantage starts at about $1100 for a 10 node license.

I use WW now and just figured I'd take a look at it. WW covers my basic needs and then some. I also used LL, I think there was a trial period?, and Kiwi syslog for a time.

Actually there is a newer version on the US FTP site, and it's 72MB released 10/19/05. I'm DLing it now. It's under Vantage_Report.

| You need to use the other link to get the most current user guide and data sheet.
To be honest I'm not sure IF this is suppoed to be on there FTP site. The file name is Vanxxx_Repxxx_V######_WinXP_CNM.zip
I think someone may have F'ed up on posting that to the open FTP server.
Oh well I'll find out when I try to install it tonight.
