Does she have the Norton Internet Security firewall thing?

 So, after 45 minutes with the Tech Guy today she found out the problem.

She has been using a Switch instead of a Router.

For some reason it has been working for a couple months and now it doesn't.

Now, she can connect directly through the modem using IPconfig /release /renew.

Hopefully, buying a router will fix the problem completely.

Thanks for the help guys.
