The new AOL RADIO that allows you to listen to XM Radio right on your desktop. being that Roadruner gave me free AOL I really love this application. Got a lot of good stations.

Yes, this is pretty cool. Not entirely useful for me being that i'll have XM on DirecTV in a couple days, but still very cool. Thanks!

Yea, but just think - with AOL Radio you'll even be able to hear XM Radio when it is cloudy outside.

i beta tested it. Its a very good product, and aol seems to be improving their software a lot lately, on both platforms. All they need to do now is improve their aol client for the mac...cause its so outdated and horrible.

nah. no one needs the AOL client . the extras is all i care about. this AOL radio thing is nice, as well as AIM. the rest of it all sucks.

Do they have an all Phil Anselmo all the time station? I could really get into that!

It's cool.

The XM part is not working, though....but the AOL stations work just fine.

No aol stations support your current network bandwith.

What does this mean im on 5 meg DSL I think that should be enough to stream audio what gives?

It should work for you....works fine here on 10.4.3 with a 3 meg DSL connection....did you select "Broadband" when you opened the app?

Maybe reinstalling it would work.

Did you set the setting in the preferences?

are you a paid AOL member? if you only have a freebie AIM SN (like i do), you seem to get that error message. Using a friends AOL full (paying monthly) account I can listen to the stations just fine.

it's actually AOL's fault for not making that error message clear. Luckily I had a friend's password to see if it was my computer or not, haha.

Don't know about the rest of you, but I'll never pay for radio until one of them has a "Spooky Bat Cave" channel.

And no, "Alternative" isn't it either.

Use AOL Radio combined with AirFoil to stream it to Aiport Express. You can even click on a song or artist in the now playing box and be taken to that selection in the iTunes store.
