Re: Best car alarm system?

Car alarms are a waste of time. Trust me when I tell u this! People will not stop and say, "hey that guy is stealing his car!" Alarms have irratating noises that people ignore these days.Dont waste your time with alarms! This is what you really need Autolock

Double-Nickel chrome look is a must-have for any tuner!

The Unbreakable AutoLock X simply locks up the brake or clutch Pedal, making your car or truck impossible to drive. Guaranteed! The Unbreakable AutoLock X's solid steel deadbolt lock system is virtually drill-proof, cut-proof and freon-proof, under normal circumstances and use.

BRAKE vs. STEERING WHEEL
The Unbreakable AutoLock X uses the brake pedal or clutch pedal arm because their thick solid steel construction makes them one of the strongest parts of your vehicle and virtually impossible to cut. Steering wheel locks are typically bars that attach to the steering wheel & prevent it from turning. Most steering wheels are made of thin metal & foam because they are designed to bend out of the driver's way in an accident. A car thief can easily cut the steering wheel using a bolt cutter or hacksaw, remove the steering wheel lock & steal the vehicle.

Hmmm. I don't see what locking the brake is going to do for you. Somebody could drive away with your car quite easily, and crash into a lot of stuff doing it.

I could get pretty far. The e-brake will work if I need to stop for something.

My car has a built in steering wheel lock, you just turn it and it locks, and wont unlock without the imobilizer key.

flat-bed tow truck.

It may not happen often in your area, but cars are stolen this way in my area.

But if the car has an automatic transmission, how do you get it out of park without pushing the brake? And if you can't get out of park, how can the car be pushed onto the truck?

the parking brake is something i'd be more worried about. Leaving the gear in 'Park' doesn't offer much resistance.

I'm sure for someone who has access to a flat-bed tow truck, they would have methods to bypass issues like the parking brake, clutch locks, alarms, steering-wheel locks, etc.

BTW, correct me if i'm wrong, but some flat-bed tow trucks come with winches. No need to push, just pull the car onto the bed.

I would LOVE To see that in action when the ENTIRE car is stripped and All are left is the Chasis, AutoLock "X" and the brake...

Now that is a Classic Wallpaper!
