| Welcome to VERIZON HELL!!!!!
I use Tmobile and love it! AWESOME Customer service and AWESOME regular Service...
There is NO way Verzion will let you off the hook... people that say they do, their cousin or a fam member work for Verizon
It's easier to take a piece of fresh slab of meat from a lion in Africa than optin out of contract with Verizon..
So Pay up and Move on as far away from the Co as possible... I used to be one and I paid my dues to know Verizon is NEVER MORE!!! I mean EVER!
good luck to the company and anyone who thinks they are enjoying it! |

You're trying to get out of a contract though a loophole, and they have caught on and closed that loophole. You signed a contract and now you have an obligation to serve it throughout its term.
By the way, T-Mobile isn't that great of a carrier either. While their customer service is pretty good, if you can't even make a call on their network, what good does that do.
Coverage varies from region to region, and what may work for someone may not work for others. In my experience, Verizon's coverage is better in the areas where I am, thus there is no other carrier that I could switch to until the other carriers catch up. -- The two biggest things: the universe & human stupidity --Albert Einstein |

1 edit | reply to beth87 coverage is only is as big as the people using it.... Any bigger is a waste of money (i.e. Verizon)...
Everywhere I have been that had no signal, I have reported it and they DO care and signal strength does get strong...
... A friend of mine's house was in a dead zone for Verizon, Tmobile, and Cingular... I called and now I get 4 bars at his house and All my friends get nothing.... |

| Gee they must really love you. When I tried TMOBILE and could not get a signal at all on the whole East Side of my home town they told me to return the phones and cancel the account! Which they screwed up and kept billing and took 2 months to get right. But you got a tower just for your friends house, some people have all the luck. -- THE ROAD: Romans 3:23, 6:23, 5:8, 10:9 |

| well, here's the deal... you ought to know that you do not need to talk to one person... They way I did and got it working is by going to the O-fficial Tmobile store in the area that the signal is weak or not there and complain. Next, I go to my local area Tmobile (O-fficial) store and complain there... next, a day later Call and complain to the CSR on the phone and Voila! another happy and well, satisfied Customer... |

Less subscribers? Yes. Niche? No way bro
By your definition Apple Computers would be considered niche. |

It may not be in "iPod" business but in laptop sales and Personal Puter sales is a VERY niche. If I see one having an iBook or a PowerBook I feel like they are "special" |

| reply to beth87 Just for what it's worth, I cannot find any zip code in the state of NC where T-mobile provides service. Their phones may work here, but they don't seem to be interested in our business. -- Best of luck

| reply to beth87 using the T-Mobile Coverage Map it is clear that Tmobile is in the roaming world but coverage is gr8 in all large cities in NC... Now Tmobile, again, is neither ATT (US coast to Coast) nor Verizon (East Coast) so there are a lot of roaming zones...
... Great thing with T-mobile, the word Roaming is something unknown, unless you get the cheapest local plans. I have been to many airports in the Fly over country and BAAM 5 bars on some local GSM network... but make calls all the time and no problems and no charges... Can't say that with Sprint... |
