OS X Program MVP

So here we go, I was thinking "What programs do the users on ATM need to survive each day, or week on OS X?"

I'll start off by mine:

Adium, Mail, Safari, iTunes, Adobe Creative Suite CS2, Captain FTP, ftp-config, Toast 7.

Cheers

So far mmmmm iTunes, iCal(haven't tried anything outside it, don't know if there's something better) and Camino...I'm new to macs so can somebody tell me if macs come with a cd burning software or do you have to get one, because as far as I know there's no program in my iMac G5 for that.

I use Toast 7 for burning cd's and dvd's. Not sure about other burning programs. I'm sure there are some others but as far as I know Toast is the best (for me).

edit: there is a bug in the BBR code. I only put 3 h-t-t-p's in my comment, but out pops 4 links.

Audio CDs? iTunes.

Data CDs for backup? Just insert a blank CD, drag files and folders onto the image of the CD on the Desktop, then when you are finished, drag it to the Trash to eject it and OS X will burn it.

Or in Tiger, choose New Burn Folder in the Finder, drag items into it, and then click Burn in the bar above the file list.

No, that's actually by design. Neat feature, I think...
