| internet running slow
I have recently been playing ps2 online (also xbox) and it seems like my internet is running slow. I was wondering if you guys have any suggestions on what I could do to reduce lag or speed up my connection. I obviously have road runner and I am playing while hooked up to a lynksis 4 port router. I have one cat 5 ethernet cable which is hooked up to the xbox. Then I have a radio shack brand hooked up to the ps2. The xbox still seems to run slow even though I have the high speed cable. I also have the regular cable that I was given with the router hooked up to the PC. Another thing, I have a dell pc. |

My computer seems to be running fine but with the ps2 or xbox on, which they are connected through a router, I lag incredibly bad. I'm not sure if its the ethernet cable I'm using??? I have a Cat5 for the xbox then a radioshack brand for the ps2. I really don't want to connect without using the router because that diminishes the whole point of having my router; I won't be able to use the computer. I'll have my tweak results up in a little... |
