I know that this is a bad taste to advertise another forum board within another board, however, that board has accumulated knowledge that probably will be very useful.

My pa had problems that no mechanic he went to could help him with. Yet, on that forum I was able to find a similar problem that another person had and steps to eliminate it.

Best of all, that forum is divided into different car manufacturers and models.

I think this link should be included in a sticky:

(Kelly Blue Book new & used auto prices)

(reliablity ratings- highly recommended by every statistics teacher I've ever had, and very accurate in my own personal experience)

Oh and funny...I checked the internet section of Consumer Reports to make sure it wasn't too embaressing (it isn't outside of the article being about 3 years old). And at the bottom of the article, they gave 1 and 1 only link for additonal information:
www.broadbandreports.com

car parts at oem prices, these guys are great:
»https://www.1stjeepparts.com/oe_parts_catalog.html
»https://www.1stchryslerparts.com/oe_part···log.html
»www.mopar-parts-dealer.com/parts.htm

those are all the same place. The prices tend to vary slightly between them. I've ordered from them many times and have yet to get anything bad/wrong/broken/etc.

I think it should be noted that CarFax doesn't have all the info.

This is the treasuretrove of the purest form of technical information.

A certain level of understanding is presupposed to allow an understanding of many of the papers.
