just download/buy some software that does the job: Cable TV Card (PC) Location Free Compatible Software Video Stream

Bad enough Apple Corp. does this, now Sony with 300 box haha, way to expensive, for such a little extra, maybe when I can view TV on the Metro will I think of something like this. | |

| It's almost there. I have WME 9 and broadcasts my cable feed to my LAN clients. I also have shared video with friends over the internet using WME. The only bad thing is that there's no channel changing control on the client side. And that the video server can not be started remotely with software. I have tried VLC and several others and none seemed to have worked. I hope there's better software that will do the trick, I'm not ready to be spending 300 bucks to watch TV across the world. | |
