| DTA-310 Safely Restore from AR160 to 11.11
WARNING! If you upgraded your DTA to the Leadtek AR16 firmware you can not down grade directly to 11.11 . You must go back one step at a time. Failure to do it this way will lock your DTA in a bad firmware mode forever.
*After the successful download message is displayed on each step, just unplug the DTA for a few seconds to reboot it. Then hit refresh on your browser.
*Zone alarm and other firewalls between your computer and the DTA must be turned off.
If you haven't already; download the firmware into a new directory on your harddrive. More directions can be found here: »/forum/r···ode=flat
AR160 »www.leadtek.com/voip/bva_8052_1.html
Unlocked 1235 »/r0/down···5unl.zip
Ver.1229 zip »/r0/down···_new.zip
Ver.1111 zip »/r0/down···_old.zip
I was able to downgrade to 1235, then 1229, then 1111. After that I was able to do the complete Restore at the top of the page and it cured the problem that I was having. After that I just went back up the ladder of firmwares.
I have tried to cure 2 DTA's that are stuck because they were downgraded from AR160 directly to 1111 and got permanently jammed in down loader mode without success. |

| See I am having the opposite problem. After upgrading to AR16 I cannot get the dta-310 back into downloader mode to change the firmware back to any other version. Even if I set it up (ip, gateway, etc) via the phone keypad it won't go into downloader mode. If anyone has any ideas to help me I would appreciate it.
Thanks in advance, Jared
(Someone mentioned looking into shorting the pins on on the chip that holds the firmware, but I am not sure where that stands.) |

| Neither AR16O (for the BVA8051) nor P8 12.35 will work w/ the BPA-410! It will brick your adapter.
For LeadTek BPA-410 firmware options, see this thread: »[Packet8] BPA-410 P8 (Downloader) + Leadtek (App Code) FW
