| reply to Riss_Centaur well, Im a bit deflated.
I came in here to post all my wonderful resourses, and, alas theyve been posted.
The only things I can offer, are Phoenix contact: »www.phoenixcontact.com/com/index_1024.htm
And a rather obscure company, more suited to lasers, MWK. Ive bought stuff from them for the last 10 years or so. Good stock, but not a good web presence. Catalogs are a must
Built my first HeNe laser from them.. That was 11 years ago.. *sniff*

Riss_CentaurMod'taur - - - - 4 On The Floor.Premium,MVM,Ex-Mod 2005-07 join:2004-01-20 Chicago, IL | Fry's is good. It's not often you find a brick & morter retail store anymore where you can walk in and find a selections of IC's and small fix-it parts. (Radio Shacks small selection excluded.) Here in the Chicagoland area we had our first Fry's open up and it is a cool place.

| reply to Riss_Centaur If we're talking local places, I *always* go to Torrance Electronics on Carson Street first. Not big on computer stuff, except for any kind of cable or adapter you'd ever need, but TONS of other stuff, including tubes.
