Do I need to uninstall Spybot 1.3 before installing 1.4?

Do yourself a favor, and remove the old version completely before installing the new one.

Thanks for the advice. I had tried to find instructions on the Spybot site, but couldn't find them. I should know by now that if I can't find specific instructions, I should always uninstall first. But ... it's been awhile since I had a program to upgrade that didn't gracefully handle the upgrade without uninstalling first.

I must say ... the speed of 1.4 scanning is MUCH improved!
