| It's one thing to spend money to deliver the product. It's quite another to spend exceeding amounts of money to deliver the product.
Data doesn't travel far over the meduim BPL uses. Having to install a repeater "every so many feet" just to deliver the product over a square mile isn't economical. -- :: my trivial ramblings :: |

Installing repeaters along with their infrastructure is a lot cheaper than trying to build a fiber optic network over the same distances....
The bottomm line is that they don't think they can run a profitable operation with BPL.
