said by stickfigure  :Is it fair that we charge all viewers for all channels when its really only a couple channels viewers want to watch? Put that in your pipe and smoke it,jackass content providers!!!  Except that the number of channels offered is s function of your cable/satellite service, not of the individual content providers.
Let's face it: the fairest model is usage based. That is, offer X number channels to chose from, but charge based on the number of minutes of programming viewed/recorded.
