I would prefer a Box and CD any day!
Auto update in games is great but for reinstalls and new installs nothing beats a CD. Poor dial-up users will be downloading for weeks before they hit 100%
Valve really gets me "Steamed" and not in a good way! |

| reply to diehardspeed they still sell it retail. If you download it via steam, you can backup your most current copy to a DVD or a few CDs.
Either way, you'd have to go online to get updates anyways. Steam streamlines the process, as opposed to searching all over the internet for the latest HL1111 patch, and then the latest DoD:S patch build 1241, etc.. |
