Well for those who are interested, i did have my music backed on a Firewire drive, but that decided to go down too. So, the reason i plugged my ipod into my PC was in an attempt to backup it up onto yet another drive, using the third party software. This ,by the way won't let me upload my paid-for music, and i can't open Ipod in Explorer, presuambly because it was set to auto-update and not "use as a hard-drive".

I'm not sure what third party software you are using? Is it Jhymn? The inability to open in Explorer is normal, but there is software out there that will let you use it like another hard drive (for the Apple and Windows).
Again, paid for music should be backed up without any trouble with the built in burn disc function. -- Computer keyboards are very sensitive. You do not need to apply a lot of pressure. Banging the keys only serves to wear out your keyboard and you. |
