What you'll want to do is create a connection without the AOL software. There is a thread on how to do this in the UK (NOT THE STICKIES AT TOP). Once you've done that you can simply use Windozes networking wizards to set up internet connection sharing. |

| Yeah we have had the same pb, it is because AOL is CRAP! Seriously they suck. They do everythg to avoid you from sharing your broadband...
So what you want to do is avoid using the software (AOL 9.0). For this you have to uninstall it, uninstall the modem as well. Restart your computer and install the modem only (drivers are on the CD). Once it is done, go to the connexion panel in Windows. Create a new connection that you set up yourself using your login and password for AOL. Then you should be able to connect without needing the software. You can then share that connection. |
