except you can't upload the tracks from you're ipod officially, and yes i know there are a zillion unofficial programs to let you do this, but what do you do when you can't open Itunes, or uninstall it, but it still pops up whenever you plug you're ipod in, and then tries to synchronize.... i.e because itunes thinks it has no music in it, it tries to wipe all your music from your ipod. Nice. Oh, and you can't turn autoupdate off because you can't access itunes normally. iTunes isn't the only music software that handles it like this. Every DRM enabled player has some restrictions on it, no need to single iTunes out. If your only backup is what is on your iPod then losing all of your purchased music is inevitable. You need to practice what Apple has been preaching with iTunes. Backup, backup, backup. It takes you all of 2 minutes to burn a cd or dvd with all your store bought music on it. -- Computer keyboards are very sensitive. You do not need to apply a lot of pressure. Banging the keys only serves to wear out your keyboard and you. |
