Been said before.

Apple can test compatiblity on all supported Mac's.

But PC's are so screwed up no two look alike and apple cannot test on all platform configurations.

Things can happen.

So, rather than test compatibility with a few PCs, (I'm sure that'll be really hard to scrape together) just release buggy software and pray to God your coding will hold? That's the excuse?

Sounds piss-poor if you ask me. I'd like to think this muck-up is due to a better reason than just Apple "poo-poohing" various PC compatibilities.
