| [SunRocket] uh oh, SR down **AGAIN**?
3rd time this week, but this time it's not the middle of the night. I'm in Brewster NY.
I have a dial tone but can't connect (dead silence after I dial). When I call my SR number from my cell phone, I get the "could not complete the call" message, but the SR phone then rings! However, there is no voice connection.
This is strike three! 'Yer OUT! |

I called 'em it's another outage which they will rectify as soon as possible..
I joined these guys a month ago and have had 5 outages already.. ridiculous. |

Yea, it's down here in No. Va too. I'm still on the fence on if I'm going to go with sunrocket permanently, and stuff like this makes me definitely think twice! |

These guys better get it together, or i'll keep the free phones, and head over to the next service on the list. Voicepulse, even though it mostly sucked, and didn't have E911, was at least reliable! |

I hate to say it so but till the FCC treats them like a TELCO service and SR gets fined a few mil for these outages, 2 things will happen. They will go bankrupt and shut down or they will stop screwing around in the daytime and start working "upgrades" at night. I've already gone back to pots because SR just can't meet the same level of service I had before I switched. I could have cared less for VM, call waiting, 2 numbers. I expected no less then 24/7 reliable service. Having young children at home, I couldn't take the chance of putting them in jeopardy by not having reliable phone service. It came to this. Was 20.00 a month more then what I'm paying now worth the life or safety of my kids? No brainier there. I do have a back up, a cell phone, but working for a large wireline and wireless provider and knowing what I know about cell phones, anyone who puts everything in the wireless bucket are stupid. Nuff said.  |

Here comes the calls for the FCC to be involved. Please. Technology breaks, POTS lines go down. If you wanted 24/7 reliability then you should have POTS/Cellphone/Sat Phone/VOIP and maybe a unicorn sprinkled with pixie dust...
