This is why smart "podcast"ers do multiple transmission methods, specifically including BitTorrent, which is of course perfect for this.

3 edits |  I am downloading the 1st episode and it is only coming down at about 50 kbps on a 6000 kbps link. An interesting concept, but if they can't feed the mp4 file faster than that, not many are going to download his TV show.
P.S> they are feeding this not directly from pbs.org. It is redirected: »www.pbs.org/hplink/redir/http://···v001.mp4
Some company in Hoboken named Datapipe is serving the file. They aren't doing a very good job of it.
