How someone from California can comment about what happened to Florida after Andrew only shows your ignorance.If you weren't here you have no clue. When there's no communications,all the major highways damaged, most of the infrastructure destroyed and most of the local roads impassable it's going to take time for aide to reach the people that need it most. Your attempts to politicise the issue will not make things better for the victims.

| like what you have to say. I am so frustrated with the nation thinking that Bush or the Government could have prevented this. Why is everything so political? Here is what one victim said. This victim lost everything in Katrina, job, house; their neighbors are dead.
"This Hurricane is a lot worse than anyone expected. Nothing could have prevented this. It is not the government’s responsibility to have the National Guard waiting right outside New Orleans for a disaster to strike. This is a horrible disaster but I have my life and it will go on somewhere else in the US.” |
