hrm...

I don't know about the UN, but as a skilled Canadian in the trades I have been turned around at the border before, or not allowed to use my trade is said disaster zone.

Some of the reasons you may not get AID is simply because of government Local/State or federal restrictions from non US citizens.

As for sending money? Sure I'll send some cash...

You have seen some of hate posted here in regards to non USA citizens? Could be that the rest of the world knows how many in the USA view them? Who knows...
