| Voicepulse - major disappointment
Wow, I seem to be in the minority here, but I have had Voicepulse for almost a year now, and it has been far and away the WORST experience Ive had with any company to date. I unfortunately made the mistake of listening to many positive stories from other users and signed up for a year contract which I will be canceling next month. Congrats to all those with Voicepulse success but any new users should certainly signup for the month to month contract in order to avoid the hell Ive been through.
Please note, that I spent countless hours on the phone with their technical support folks who admitted in the end they had no ideas left for how to fix my service. Even so, they would not let me out of my contract. I was not asking for a refund, but simply to be let out of my contract and they refused, which is beyond my comprehension. Below is a short summary of my experiences.
Poor Quality The main issue was dropped voice which most callers complained about. I also experience missed calls and dropped service which requires a power cycle of my Sipura box. Tech Support I filled out many tickets through their site and even though they were not resolved, Voicepulse changed their status to fixed on multiple occasions. Poor Phone Support My phone support calls resulted at a point where they had no idea what else to check after I bought a new phone and ran countless tests. When they ran out of ideas, they still wouldnt let me out of my contract. Better Business Bureau After countless calls and over 80 emails, I contacted the BBB. Voicepulse responded offering nothing in return.
I make sure to tell everyone I talk to about VOIP to STAY AWAY from Voicepulse, but interesting to see a positive review here. Even so, Ill be thrilled to cancel my account next month and still encourage all others to avoid Voicepulse! |

| Re: Voicepulse - In the minority
I'm glad you realize that you're in a very tiny minority. I hope you have better luck with whatever service you've chosen, though I suspect you may have had very basic issues with your Internet connection, your network or both. The vast majority of VoicePulse users probably are scratching their heads after reading your comments, as I am. Your commentary is so contradictory to the normal VP experience that I wouldn't know where to begin to point out what's wrong with it. I hope you are getting whatever service now that you think you should. |

You either are in a very small minority or you work for Vonage. If you are a legit reviewer then you certainly are in a VERY small minority. I've had VP for a while now and can't say enough good about them. My call quality is so good that I keep forgetting that it's not POTS. I've also had nothing but great customer support. When my number ported over from Verizon I wasn't able to receive calls on it for about 3 hours the morning of the port. I called VP CS and they got right to work. They even called me back as soon as the problem was resolved. Your experience had to be related to your ISP. For you to suggest that people need to "STAY AWAY from Voicepulse" based on your questionable experience is frankly irresponsible. You're certainly entitled to your opinion but with all the great experiences I think that people need to take your advice with a grain of salt and consider that yours is just a fluke and not the norm. |

| reply to vpUser Hi VPUser:
Were you able to browse well with IE, when you were not able to use Voice Pulse? As someone else mentioned, it could have been your ISP. Note that Speak Easy will only sell their VoIP to SE ISP customers. That way there is no finger pointing.
But assuming that your ping times and speed were good, then the problem probably would be with Voice Pulse.
So...
If they aren't delivering the product that they contracted with you to deliver, then I would say Voice Pulse broke the contract. So I would think you are released by virtue of them not delivering the product. |
