Outage in Louisville, KY

I live in Eastern Louisville, KY, and yesterday our service went out (one person said due to the weather). Now, the next day, my service is still out and they no longer show a general outage in my area.

Anyone else in this area have any problems right now?

Further, I've had my service for only a little over a week and so far I have not had good service. I've had a weak signal and was told someone would be out soon to fix it, then yesterday I found out there was no work order ever placed for that.

This is certainly not a good start for a new customer, I hope they get things going soon.

I live in the East End of Louisville (Westport Road/Murphy Lane area) and I'm not having any problems at all. The last time my service went out was about a week and a half (Insight said it was a widespread outage).

My service has been out off and on since Monday evening. When I have service it is barely faster than dialup.

Supposedly tech came out but it was late so he only worked on the outside of my house. Strange since there was someone home the entire day. Anyway, tech didn't fix problem so I called again today. Went through the same troubleshooting script as yesterday. Same results. Now they tell me that I can't get a tech out until next Tuesday at the earliest.

It's sad that a long term customer has to go a week without service due to some stupid point system. And if they are having some many problems that they don't have a tech available then they need to start making some concessions, especially now that DSL speeds are starting to catch up and exceed cable speeds.

I live in J-town and haven't had any problems lately. I have had problems before but mostly of my own doing

I have been with Insight for 5 years or so and must say I am very pleased with their service. Phone support has been lacking at times but I have to say during this past problem I had a couple weeks ago (router issue that quickly fixed) their service department has really seemed to turn it around.

I'm near Okalona and my cable modem has lost it's signal only ONE time in the last 4 years and that's because I didn't pay my bill on time. Other than that, it's been rock solid, no problems, and very fast speeds.
