Just to be on the safe side in the event Adelphia does offer the extreme tier, I just upgraded to Premier. IT is all that it is cracked up to be........Awesome Adelphia |

| Same here. As hard as it was to get upgraded to Premier, it will make it much easier as they automatically upgrade you to extreme.

I live near Pittsburgh Area (non-Comcast areas) and I got the phone call about extreme service... It is supposedly available for me now.
My service is from the Bethel Park Office
From what I understand as well... Adelphia has to meet certain requirements to get the full value of the company. When they were bought out, they were probably told to have a certain standard reached before take over. Good for us Adelphia customers... |

Having a certain standard before acquisition is one thing, but exceeding it is another. There would be no logical reason in my opinion to exceed Comcast's tiers or RoadRunners tier's. before the acquisition. I don't believe this was required. I think this was in the works by Adelphia and they are following through dispite the acquisition.

Actually why not... its not comming out of Comcasts or Time Warners Pockets... they probably put that in the contract to have FIOS type speeds before acquisition. Lets just say it wouldnt suprise me. |
