Preparing/Installing fan....

I bought a new case about month back and it came with a little compartment on the top of the case where there was extra USBs n stuff well i didn't' want that so i took it all out coz there was lots of cables that came with it, now i was wondering what i would have 2 do to install a fan in its place ? are there fan holders i can buy, i just want to know the simplest way 2 do it - thanks

I have the same exact case as you. I took out the extra useless usb/audio/mic crap and modded the top of the case with a 120mm fan. I'll post some pics when I find my camera.

That funny... LOL. How can it be for Pentium? Thats an Athlon CPU Mobo. Am I missing something? It does look like a 12v power connector often found on Pentium Mobos to supply additional stable power to the CPU.

You might consider reading your MOBO manual. They usually identify and explain every connector on the board.

Ok Im gonna buy the fan and stuff tomorrow now u say u have the same case as me disorder is a 120mm fan a nice fit because i wouldn't want it to get in the way of my PSU and would the drive bays be ok or would u have 2 cut a little off ? i would put a 80mm in but then there will be gaps

A 120mm fan is bigger than an 80 (obviously) but it shouldn't get in the way.
