My upload speed is correct. My dsl provider has very high uploads and mediocre downloads. Strange I know but true. My network is 10/100 with 5 computers on it. I have my dsl modem running to a dlink wireless di-524 with one of the lan connections running to my vonage linksys rt31p2. Its a peer to peer network. |

| Adsl uses from 14khz to 1.1mhz. The upload range is between 14khz to 140khz. It is impossible to achieve such a high upload speed that is nearly as much as the download speed. No adsl provider offers this. Therefore, I still question those figures you cite, unless you have another form of dsl than adsl.

| yes and no. what VZ does is to sell you an ADSL line with high speed then throttle the downside to equivalent to the upside. ex: a 384/384, 768/768 (of course, for the latter, you need to be able to qual for the 7M/768k loop...) no idea if that's what he has... |
