Thanks rcilink and voiplover.

I successfully reflashed the firmware with 12.35unl and the DTA is working with asterisk now.

The new versions are:
Application Code Version: DTA version 1.0 US (8x8 001235)
Downloader Code Version: 1.0 US (8x8 010113)

Now the question is whether to flash to AR16O or just stick with 12.35.
