| [Modem] I cant get on!!!
I'm so pissed off right now because of the horrible service that i've been getting with bellsouth lately. Im about 50% of getting comcast. Lately what bellsouth been doing to me is disconnecting my service and work on some wire or whatever they are doing ( my middle lights from the A90 Westell modem were flashing almost the entire day!)
I know is not my problem... As of now I have no way of connecting on to check my emails and everything else. The message says on the launchmodem site saying "ATM connection is down, call bellsouth" and "cannot connect to traget service". Im on the IP. 192.168.1.254 on my web browser and it contuines saying this to me..
Is it really my fault or is it bellsouths? How can i mangage to sign myself back on? can somebody help me? |

| reply to BrittBrat I haven't called them yet. I will however if this problem contuines. My modem is contuining to blink... in the middle of my A90 modem, which is the "Ready" which Bellsouth told me the last time i called them that each time it flashes on the ready that it means that their working on something.... I was wondering if anybody in my area is having the same faith as i am? |

| reply to BrittBrat I thought I would get better information here. In the past this forum was able to help me with a simple problem that the bellsouth reps couldnt able to fix. I've spent 3 hours on the phone and nothing was done but to waste time.
Just to let you know it is not my problem with my connection. I was able sign on ( while all lights were on, none flashing) and was able to get my emails and go onto the net... this lasted about 5 to 10 mins tops. It went back to the same ole problem. The ready lights are flashing. |

| reply to BrittBrat said by BrittBrat :...the "Ready" which Bellsouth told me the last time i called them that each time it flashes on the ready that it means that their working on something.... That is complete and utter bovine scatology! The ready light blinking means the Modem can not achieve synch with the DSLAM. That could be happening for many different reason Including techs working on the line). However in your case the chances are it is simply a physical problem on your line. Pull your line stats and we will be able to prove it. Guaranteed, or your money back!!!! |
