1 edit | 6800 on a VIA KT133a board?
My main computer is on the blink so I am using one of my old systems. It has a 64 meg Radeon 8500 and it is quite painful. The main board is Abit and uses the KT133a chipset. I can't remember the exact name of the board but Abit KT7A is surfacing in my brain.
Do you think there will be any problems installing a BFG 6800 OC into the AGP slot on this older board? A friend said the voltages on the AGP slot may not match so I figured I would ask here. |

It shouldn't be a problem. The 6800 series can be installed in a 4X/8X slot. The KT133A supports 4X. |

Dearest Mod,
Please lock this post. I have re-posted it in a more appropriate forum. |
