Digital Cable billing inquiry.

I would rather spare myself the emotional pain of explaining this question to one of Rogers' asses (read: donkey), I thought I would get more insightful answers here. Above, you see a screen cap of a »shoprogers.com order for Digital Cable.

Looking under the 'BONUS!' section, it states in the following order: Two months at half price, $20 one time rebate. If you click the $20 off link, it explains it is a one time rebate applied to your first bill.

The issue now becomes, is it taken off before, or after the monthly charge is halved? Look:

(55.87 / 2) - 20 = $7.93
(55.87 - 20) / 2 = $17.93

The second month would be $27.93, and the following months at the regular $55.87.

The first scenerio ($7.93) makes sense to me, because the bonuses are applied in the order they're seen. First the price if halved, then $20 is taken away. But knowing Rogers, I'm almost certain they'd try the second one.

So, does anyone have any experience with this offer, or similar offers in which the order they were applied changed the final charge?

I'd appreciate some help, thanks.

Now, I know this is the wrong forum to post this in, and I thought about posting this in CanChat, but I thought I'd more appropriate replies here (seeing as how this is a Rogers related forum). If indeed a mod wishes to move it somewhere else, be my guest.

I don't think they include the pornography channels.

FYI, it was ATN and B4U. The blurring was done as an added effect, to see if you people would say what you just said.

Dirty minded people.

So, on to my question...?
