WA (South-West), all OR, and all VA (Feb 1)
Atlanta, GA and Richmond, VA added (Feb 7)
IN (all) and Chicago, IL added (Feb 24)
CA (Fresno, Stockton, Sacramento added March 5th
Mar 9, 2005: Minnesota market rolled out.
Mar 24, 2005: add CO, UT, Los Angeles, San Francisco, CA and Seattle, WA
Mar 29, 2005: Final markets in Michigan done, all markets upgraded. |

... Colorado subscribers might be looking at September 6th for the upgrades.  (8-4-05 chirpings)
8-8-05 Edit: Another birdy flew by and suggested the tentative date of August 22nd for the Seattle, WA market.
8-14-05 Birdy update on all WA/OR: Tentatively scheduled for last week in August. Be patient, folks, will likely take awhile to get all (Beaverton Bedrock) these customers upgraded.
On 8-13-05 in the AM, I heard another little bird murmur, "Salt lake is attempting speed launch on 8/23."
On 8-17-05 an update: Salt Lake / Utah speed increase was moved today to 9/7 to occur on the same day as Denver , due to the shared provisioning system
8-19-05 (OR and SW WA for sure, not clear about the rest of WA): I'm hearing twitters projected rollout dates are slipping a week or more due to numerous other projects going on, no new estimated dates yet, however. Just don't be surprised if the rollouts come later. (See 8-26-05 update below; we seem to be slipping.) See also 8-30-05.

8-26-05 birdy flyby: OR & SW WA word is 1st part of Week 2 of Sept. Still no speculation about the rest of WA.
8-27-05: Speed increase for UT and CO have been posponed, no date set.
8-30-05: My birdy tells me WA and OR are most likely delayed like UT for the short term.
8-31-05: Are these Michigan birds singing loud enough to awaken jblues ?

9-6-05 OR and SW WA birdy flapped wings and chirped: SW WA/OR back on track. (That means second week in September.)
9-9-05: Colorado -- "Week of 21st or 27th.. if they can't get it to fly the 21st, it'll be the following week.. just a chirp.."
9-10-05: "Utah and parts of CO , (provisioning group 2 at the RDC) are now schedued for 9/27."
9-21-05: Colorado speed upgrade is scheduled for 12:01 am on 9/28/05
Please don't IM me to ask if birds from other states have flown by with information. I have no control over the birds. If they give me hints, I'll let you know. If you don't read it here, I haven't heard anything. It's pointless to ask me to identify the birds as well. I won't remember.
Please also realize plans do change and anything I say in this post is not an official announcement or promise from Comcast. |

Edit: I received a confirmation from more than one whispering bird that the states of WA/OR are now, in fact, all one market. While this market is now tentatively scheduled a week later than the initially proposed 8-22-05, it has been emphasized, they may start earlier depending on progress made this week. It's a moving target, so don't be upset if your upgrade comes before or even after the suggested time.
