What Exactly Does TWU Want?

I've been following what media I can find concerning the Telus strike, and I can't really piece it all together.

I believe the TWU wants additions to the contract that will guarantee employment - and consequently limit or disallow outsourcing - as well as pay increases backdated to 2000.

Is that the situation?
