| Does No One Read the Patent Application?
It's amazing that people on DSLR consider themselves so much more intelligent than the non-techies. And yet, looking at all the comments, clearly there's only a few people here that understand what the patent is about.
Too many jerks moving their knees at the same time.
Of course, DSLR clearly likes to froth the waters with their yellow journalism when it comes to MS and patents. |

It seems to me that the other posters are the ones that are bitching.
There's only two other posters on here that understand the patent application and the patent system in general. Other than that, it seems like all the warez kiddies and MS-bashers are out in full force. |

| reply to Goober I almost can't stand reading BBR news -- especially related to Microsoft (and the dozens of oh-so-funny ways to name bash) -- because it seems most of the time, posts are indeed intended to draw controversy with out-of-context information.
I can see someone hating patents, or the system in general, but if you want to see worse behavior just look at the ridiculously general ones by many other companies, like IBM and SCO. |

I agree with you.. but watch out.. you've now been labled an MS Lover boy... but I would'nt worry..
Hey, but, I DO have an idea for MS, if they haven't done so already... maybe they could apply for a patent on the Blue Screen of Death.. (Sorry, coudn't resist) |

The anti-MS bent shown by BBR is clearly evident at all times, and moreso when MS is the topic du jour. In those instances, journalistic integrity is thrown out the window and sensationalism commands its spot. As you said, MS isn't any worse than IBM and other large corporations.
Clearly it's BBR's way of pandering to the lowest common denominator on these forums. |
