now the BPA410 not link the network it work turn on the light power and line 1 but is not posible access the web configuration. You can try and reset the BPA410 to some default 1. Unplug the power 2. Connect the telephone to the Line 1 port 3. Lift the handset off the hook (off hook) 4. Use a pin or something like it to push the reset button while you plug in the power. The power led should be flashing. 5. Continue to hold the led until you see 4 of the 6 led's flashing several times in pairs. Release the pin pushing the reset button and wait until all the led's stop flashing. This could take 10-seconds or so. Put the phone back on the handset.
As rcilink has posted, you should only try to download firmware meant for the Leadtek BVA8052 to the BPA-410. |

If you goto the leadtek website, they do have phone commands that can be implemented to set a static ip address on the adapter. But as far as I can tell it is ineffective on a bricked bpa due to incorrect firmware being loaded. All i get is the power light and the line1 light lit. |

It was fun to play around with DTA310. I have a DTA-310, I was lucky flashed it to AR18d . I played it again to load MGCP version. it was OK to load MGCP, but the downloader code became 010222, MGCP nothing to play. I tried to go back with SIP, but accidentally loaded AR16O firmware from MGCP version , the downloader mode cannot reboot any more. I stuck in AR16O firmware, no way to downgrade and upgrade! a working unit with AR16O firmware only! |

| reply to rcilink Re: [DTA310] Firmware - virtual office (MGCP)
said by rcilink :Here is the MGCP firmware for a DTA310. The hope was that this firmware would bring in the 8x8 download firmware (8x8 010208) that was reported to allow you to install the Leadtek AR18D firmware in the DTA. I tried it and it did not work for me.
At the end, I had 8x8 010222 downloader code. When I tried to install the Leadtek AR18D firmware, the application would not load. I was able, though, to reload my Leadtek AR17I firmware and the DTA is still useful.
When I first tried to install the DTA P8VO-116 firmware, the download said it was successful but when starting the application it did not come up but seemed "stuck". I had made the mistake of being connected to the internet and I realized that the unit was sending packets. My sniffer said they were to vo.packet8.net. I was able to reset the unit with the reset button, the phone off hook, and plugging in the power. It was at that point I tried to load the AR18D firmware. It said the download was successful but the application would not start. |

said by rcilink :Here's a glimpse into the RCI labs and the project that is currently being tested. I thought I had all the parts-- just to find out that I dont! Anyhow, here is a PDF showing the process we will perform to add a serial port to the DTA310 device. I tested the circuit diagram for serial port. it is not working as serial port |

Could you figure out the combination to make the BPA410 to gain web interface access again....? |

If the toolchain is GNU based then the manufacturer is required to make all modifications freely available under the GNU license terms. Have you tried contacting Netergy or Myson (CS6220 is same part as Netergy T2U). |

I'll test it out next week when I have time to do so. If somebody else wants to test it sooner, by all means, please do!

1 edit | reply to rizzo2dial Here is the MGCP firmware for a DTA310.
I did not test it, as I have no interest in using MGCP when SIP is available.
Does someone have a spare DTA310 they want to try this firmware on? |

I just emailed Teledex about where to get the program. If they respond, I will post back here. -- FWD#: 223611 |

| reply to rcilink Hi,
I've found references to the T2Burn app in relation to the IP250D voip handset phone by teledex and the call-in-one. If someone owns either item maybe they have the software to send us. I don't speak german but the best lead I got was from this website: »www.ip-phone-forum.de/forum/view···p?p=8796 if someone speaks german maybe they can ask the moderator for the cable pinout and program. |

| reply to mpho01 said by mpho01 :...there is a program called T2burn that can accomplish this via a parallel connection to the host interface.... Good find! Now to find the actual software...
I have been in contact with a poster on another forum that had posted a snip of a document describing the use of the t2burn tool.
unfortunately, he does not recall where the information came from
So, don't give up.. Keep looking. It appears to be a linux toolset, for the T2 or T2U chip (Netergy). |

| reply to mpho01 Hi,
I've been doing more research on a hardware method to unbrick my dta310. Evidentally there is a program called T2burn that can accomplish this via a parallel connection to the host interface. Can someone send me the T2Burn program and pinout diagram for the parallel host interface.
Thanks |

Do i really need to buy a router to do this? Or can i just use the switch that i have laying around somewhere? How can I answer this? Well, you know. Nobody can tell you that you have to breathe, but of course if you don't you are going to die. If you plan to use the DTA for any real length of time, then I highly recommend that you save yourself the on going problems and get yourself a router. But that is just my advice. |
