Or, and this might sound a bit silly, the single beep is a pass of the post test, and the windows install is hosed.

To tell the truth, I am a bit confused about where thinga actually stand at the moment.
Right with you on that, simply because there is no response to the questions that relate to the problem proposed. If entertheslot is not comfortable with how to manage the hardware issues, then rather than digressing It might be better to understand his limitations and then we could walk him through this. So, rather than avoiding the requests he could step through one item at a time.

No BIOS entry will be resolved with a CMOS battery, which he intends to try (That small round silver disk), but it may also be a BIOS upgrade issue. I'm still convinced there is more than one issue, as again, already noted.

entertheslot Can take the easy way out and have the mobo replaced, but that still won't guarantee the problem solved, It's better to try working through it first, unless the warranty is close to expiring.

Cheers

I just wanted to give you guys an update on the problem. It is much weirder now. It will beep sometimes but not all the time. It will occasionally let me enter the bios and sometime will not even display anything and i did replace the battery and it is continuing with these problems. I would like to thank everyone for there continued help.
