I know what you mean. My only broadband options here in the west are Qwest + ISP, Covad + ISP, Cox or Comcast. That means a relatively high price of $40 - $60 for DSL and $50 - $70 for cable. I wish Verizon would give me fiber for $40. I would take it in a heartbeat. For the same price I'm stuck with 1500/128 kbps DSL. If my telephone lines were better and shorter, Qwest you here that, I could get 3000/384 kbps for the same or just a little more money. | |   lfor
