As for selling us...what "us" got sold to the conglomerates again? I know I have to work into June paying my taxes but I was unaware that I was sold to anyone. |

What they sell, Mr. Oliphant, is your eyes and ears. Programming is just the bait; you're the fish. Their customers are the advertisers and their "product" is viewers.
And don't think they don't own you. Just get cable or satellite and see how many out-of-town sports events are blacked out in your area because the right to determine what you can watch is owned by the local channels. |
