Sorry, you lose.Latency has been really bad the past few months for everyone with ping times anywhere hitting as high as 300ms some at times seeing 900ms then settles down around 2:00am
I think the best thing to do when looking for a different ISP is read through there forums at what people have to say about them. My connection was better when I was at 1.5/128 No joke.
I completely agree. I switched to COMCAST with an intention to utilize my Sunrocket connection and dump sbc altogether. I was getting 4/384 in COMCAST (actually 3.8/320) ... but latency really killed the VOIP. QOS in best time is around 50%. In SBC 3/512 (2.4/420 actual) qos is around 97% ... makes things way different. I think cable is just not ready for voip yet.
