| Re: Deltathree should benefit from SBC moves I am with Comcast and have the pro package 6/768 and I would try anything availabe at this time other than Comcast. you guys should check out the forums for Comcast. After 6-9:00pm, forget it.If your a gamer? Sorry, you lose.Latency has been really bad the past few months for everyone with ping times anywhere hitting as high as 300ms some at times seeing 900ms then settles down around 2:00am I think the best thing to do when looking for a different ISP is read through there forums at what people have to say about them. My connection was better when I was at 1.5/128 No joke. | |

I was getting 4/384 in COMCAST (actually 3.8/320) ... but latency really killed the VOIP. QOS in best time is around 50%. In SBC 3/512 (2.4/420 actual) qos is around 97% ... makes things way different. I think cable is just not ready for voip yet. | |

| Re: Deltathree should benefit from SBC moves I kinda understand how that stuff works as far as how many people in your area on at any given time, thing is though the reason I never put to much thought into that is because we are out in the sticks were everyone has close to 5 acres so population isn't that dense. But could the node be old and them thinking because of our population we don't need something strong? Couple house here and there and Bam, full? How many is the norm, and from what I read in the forums a lot of others are seeing the same thing and they are scattered through out Washington. | |
