upstream between 40 and 50... makes no difference.. between 35 and 55 will give you the same connection as 40 and 50... it will go offline below 24 or a above 60.. the 30-55 range is to make sure that you have a little room for slight variations in the amplifiers due to temperature change, etc.
I'd suspect your router, or the vonage box... just an edumacated guess. it really looks like its on your side. If the modem lights show that its online, the modem is online. If it were a line quality issue, if the noise was bad enough to disconnect you from vonage or your vcn software, the modem would be blinking/ranging away. |
