They just want to make some cash. Most people (that I know) don't have Cingular's multimedia package and therefore have to pay for every txt sent and received. |

| That's what I'm thinking too. They are just using the general public's annoyance at cell phone use in confined spaces as a convenient marketing tool to promote their text messaging service, at 10 cents per message sent or received.
