For example, my previous boss who was the owner of a large stock brokerage firm enjoyed going on vacation, but he also wanted to receive daily reports on how certain stocks are doing so he can tell the staff to sell or buy. Having e-mail availability on a cruise would allow us to e-mail him the reports in the morning and for him to check them over. Instead, he'd call us (and his lesiure) and we'd scramble to get all the reports.
Also, wouldn't it be nice to e-mail the grandparents recent photos of their grandchildren playing in the pool?
I wouldn't mind having access to the Internet. Having the ability to relax at night on the main deck in a lawn chair surfing the net and chatting with friends in the middle of the ocean. That kicks ass!
