Ah. I see. That's still a little pricey but not as bad as I'd thought.

I'm not holding my breath for Sprint to do any better if it ever comes my way. Oh well.

Nar, it's $15/month for just the phone access (on Verizon) but $79/month if you want PC card access, which is what you'd use for laptop connectivity.

I travel quite frequently for my business; however, I find that there are more cost effective alternatives to accomplish the same end. As far as the $80 price tag, I'm under the impression that that covers only access via one's phone and not laptop connectivity as well.

For business travelers, traveling salespeople, service people on the go, etc., it really pays for itself ($80/month). For consumers - the price is still high for most.

Bleh. I, for one, will not pay more for slower speeds on my phone than I do for access on my computer...although my city won't be covered anyway, at least not yet, so this is all actually moot, but I'll blab my opinion anyway.

People say, "Well you can use it for wireless laptop access". At what cost? Isn't it something well over $100 total to have EV-DO and have it allowed to be used with a computer? That's a ridiculous amount to pay on top of your regular wireless bill.

I have Vision on two phones now and it's silly for what I pay as it is. I do enjoy The Onion on my phone but that's about it. LoL

Seriously, I just can't imagine paying close to/over $200 a month for wireless internet for our two phones (my husband's as well as mine.) Do people really fork out this kind of dough for such a meager offering?
