The 90s, were full of forward thinking companies, AT$T, Bell Atlantic/NYNEX(For their Fiber plans). Hell if we still had Bell Atlantic I'd have DSL by now, maybe even FiOS. Buy outs and mergers screwed this up. Bell Atlantic is now Verizon, and they suck. AT&T, was bought by SBC. We're Fu*ked... |

They've been promised longer than that, I saw one in 1964 at the worlds fair. Epcot has em too if memory serves. -- "People demand freedom of speech as a compensation for the freedom of thought which they seldom use." |

I was just rambling about AT&T. It's a sour spot for me. |

In the meantime I can promise 100mbps over wireless....or any speeds for that matter. |

| reply to inteller If there was still AT&T as it was in the early 90's you would have had that by now. Alas, there isn't. What remains is a pathetic shadow of a company that once cared about its people and its customers, where technical excellence was once valued and executives knew what was going on because they were home-grown, not in some MBA idiot farm. |
