the speed test has me clocked in as 1283 / 322, but with a transfer speed of 160.4 KB/sec.
ideally, shouldn't I be getting 1283 KB/sec (1.28 MB/sec)?
or am I supposed to only have a transfer speed of 160KB/sec with a 1283/322 DSL connection? |

The speed tests are done in kilobits per second, and the transfer speeds are in kilobytes per second.
There are 8 bits in 1 byte, so 1283 divided by 8, gets you the result of 160.
