They have been ripping up all the gas pipes in the streets / to people's homes and replacing it with PVC pipe. They have been doing this for months, I am just glad they are doing my block BEFORE they pave it again next year because it really sucks when the town spends tons of money to pave a street and the utilities come and rip it all up the next month and you know damn well they aren't going to do a clean pave for the next 20 or 30 years. :-/
