| What mode am I in?
I have a Wireless USB adapter that only works in B-Mode. But I really heard that G is alot faster and am considering buying a G mode card. But of course before spending the extra cash Id like to know if my wireless network supports G.
The wireless network is a public non encrypted network in the middle of my neighborhood. And there is hardly any tech support. They give you the connection... Its your problem if something goes wrong. So I cant ask nobody.

clubs: | It is likely "b". Also, havening a "g" card will only improve your internal network speed between your LAN devices, not your Internet connection. Finally, most "g" cards support both "g" and "b". Just check the packaging. |
