finding windows xp wep keys

once windows xp generates 64 or 128 bit wep keys via wireless zero config, is there any way the find those so you can manually enter in the key on other routers/wireless cards?

thanks in advance!

wep keys are just hex characters, so just make some up and write them down, then enter them in everywhere you need them.

0 to 9, a through f. Someone else will be able to tell you how long they need to be, because I forget.

I think a 128 bit WEP key is 26 characters; someone correct me if I'm wrong.

sorry, but i am asking once windows xp generates the keys based on the network key you give it how can you find out what the actual 4 keys are so you could manually enter them into another router/wlan card?
